![]() ![]() So as you can imagine, with how much big 4k movies can be, and how remote I go, remuxing to add an AAC track for specifically the samsung tizen so it directs play instead of direct stream (just for this bug) is insanely annoying, and I only do it for the movies that I really want to watch. Well now I have no option but to try to watch on the TV directly (the PS5 doesn't support it either). Cause just to make life that little bit harder, my combo doesn't let me watch HDR10+ content, only HDR10, it was a huge bummer when I realized that. ![]() ![]() Now, I've already got myself a NVIDIA Shield Pro, which is just miles better and makes watching much more enjoyable, and guess what? I could grab content with eac3/lossless audio without worrying (yes even tho it's listed as supported, it gets transcoded to aac on tizen), and without worrying about anything. It will slowly start to have some subtitles issue, then have some weird buffering issue that are not network-related, and finally it stops working and dies. I've had this issue for a long time where devs basically ignored the issue? the issue happens when the tv client direct streams for any reason and you have subtitles on.
